The launch, hosted at the Hilton Hotel, featured a dynamic press conference and engaging activities, ushering in a new era of convenient and efficient transportation solutions for the people of Ethiopia.

The launch event commenced with a compelling press conference at the Hilton Hotel Addis Ababa,
where key executives from Yango and ShuuFare provided valuable insights into the partnership and the
transformative benefits it brings to Ethiopia. Attendees had the opportunity to discover the unique
features of the Yango mobile app, its user-friendly interface, and the convenient payment options
available.

Yango’s user-friendly mobile app, downloadable for free on both iOS and Android devices and available
in multiple languages, including Amharic, empowers users to easily request a ride. The intelligent
geolocation feature seamlessly connects users with the nearest available driver. Initially operating as a cash-only service, Yango, in collaboration with ShuuFare, plans to integrate with popular local payment solutions such as Telebirr to support Ethiopia’s ongoing digitization efforts.

As part of Yango’s commitment to providing a seamless customer experience, the mobile app allows users to contact a dedicated support team for assistance. In line with their dedication to quality and safety, riders can rate each trip, providing valuable feedback that contributes to maintaining the highest service standards.

Central Asia, South America, the Middle East, and Africa. With this launch, Yango, in partnership with
ShuuFare, expands its footprint to thirteen African countries, including Ivory Coast, Ghana, Cameroon,
